Sunrise Steakhouse - Authentic Haitian Cuisine & Warm Hospitality in Brockton, MA

Went here for a Thursday date night and was so happy with the food and the staff was so friendly. The atmosphere is so nice and it was nice to try some Haitian side dishes. I would highly recommend checking it out. Also we got a tour of the function area and it is perfect for a holiday party or birthday gathering!

Sunrise Steakhouse is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, inviting, and beautifully put together. The food was incredible — everything was cooked to perfection and full of flavor. A special thank you to the owner, Ruben, who went above and beyond by giving my friend and me a personal tour of the restaurant. His hospitality truly made the experience unforgettable. And shoutout to our server, Tania, who delivered exceptional service with her amazing Jamaican charm! She was attentive, friendly, and made us feel completely at home. If you’re looking for great food, great vibes, and world-class service, Sunrise Steakhouse is the place to be. Highly recommend!

This place exceeded my expectations! I never had Haitian food before and it was so delicious, there was no wait, sever was kind and attentive, the food was so good, and it was fairly priced. I got the fried chicken and it came with a flavourful dipping sauce, small salad, plantains and 2 more sides I chose the seasoned rice and green beans. My husband got the t-bone and it was seasoned to perfection and juicy. He also got roasted potatoes that were cooked perfectly. Everything was so delicious I can’t say enough about how much this restaurant exceeded my expectations!

The restaurant is in a strip mall, and unless you know it’s there, it can be easily missed. The ambience feels intimate even though it’s a rather large space. We were in a private room for a birthday celebration, which was nice; however, there was far too much on the table: too many glasses and plates, more for decoration than utility. This restaurant doesn’t serve wine, beer, or alcohol, yet the table had champagne glasses at each setting. The food was plentiful and flavorful, and our waitress did yeoman’s work in serving such a large group. The meals, though good, were not timely. That’s not the fault of the waitress, rather the kitchen. Some of us received the side vegetable dishes after we had already consumed most (if not all) of our meals. The entrees are very reasonably priced, and there’s a variety in terms of selection. My Red Snapper, lightly fried, was accompanied by a delicate sauce - I’m not exactly sure what it was, but it was tasty. Others in the group also ordered the Red Snapper, Haitian-style, which they all said was good, but very spice. ‘Too spicy. Another of our party said her Beef Short Rib was too salty, so she didn’t eat it. Overall, the evening was quite nice, and the food was good. I would be remiss though if I didn’t stress how professional and hardworking our waitress was! She deserved a huge tip - which I gave her, personally.

I had the pleasure of dining at Sunrise Steakhouse on Friday 10/17. It was my first time, and I was incredibly pleased with my visit. The restaurant is well-appointed, impeccably clean, and very comfortable. My server was absolutely fantastic, and the food was delicious. I had the griot while I was there, which was phenomenal, as were all of the sides. I also had the steak tips and meatballs later (take away), and they were both fantastic. This is truly a hidden gem of a restaurant. If you love amazing food, a welcoming atmosphere, and fantastic service, I highly recommend visiting.

Came all the way from Canada and Sunrise Steakhouse truly exceeded my expectations! Everything—from the warm welcome to the perfectly cooked food—was exceptional. The food was delicious, the service was attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. It’s rare to find a place that gets it all right, but Sunrise Steakhouse definitely does. Can’t wait to go back!

Just tried the Steakhouse today and it was awesome. Atmosphere is comfy and welcoming. The staff is very kind. The food quality is really really good. And it's a place where you definitely get what you pay for. Meaning the portions are big. Which is something I personally love, haha. Food quality is very good. Sirloin was cooked to perfection and every aspect of the dish had a part to play, which was awesome. I had the Kabrit (goat) and that too was cooked perfectly. Absolutely no complaints. Again, I recommend at least trying this place out. Hope it becomes a new usual spot for most people. Cause it definitely is for us. Thanks.

First time eating take out from here. Plenty of parking since this is located in a small plaza. I ordered legume and white rice. $18. I ONLY WAITED 10 MINUTES for my food!!! I was surprised. I went in the evening on a Sunday. The food was good too. Thumbs up! There's an area to sit down and eat but I did take out. There's a bar there as well. Customer service was good. No complaints. I saw was offered some tea while I waited for my food. I would go back!
